Vertical Cars Are Everywhere
Yesterday I shared with you a video of a car that ended up planted in the snow off a New England Interstate. Then I got tipped off to this article from Michigan about a car fished out of an embankment.
BENTON TOWNSHIP – A woman and her two children escaped unharmed Tuesday just before the car they’d been in sunk into the Paw Paw River.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. off North Shore Drive near Higman Park Road, Benton Township police said. Sgt. William Melcher said Gennisha Jones, 21, of Benton Harbor, was driving a Ford Taurus south on North Shore Drive when she lost control of the car, which ran off the road down a hill and onto the ice-covered river.
Jones got her two young children, one an infant, out of the car and onto the river embankment just as the car broke through the ice, Melcher said.
