Video Game Systems That Time Forgot
You might remember our Dangerous Toys From Our Childhood week where we took a look back at dangerous toys we had growing up. Not every toy was out to kill us, some of the best toys we had were video games. Kids today don’t even know what Road Rash was or Donkey Kong. It’s a sad world.

Here’s a trip down memory lane with a rundown of some video game systems from your past that time forgot according to Ugo.com:
Magnavox Odyssey- It cost $100 and had the very first light gun.
Sega SG-1000- You might think the Sega Genesis was the first Sega console, It wasn’t. The Sega SG-1000 came out just when the Atari 2600 was introduced. How’s that for bad timing?
ColecoVision- ColecoVision’s claim to fame was bringing Donkey Kong to the masses.
Atari Jaguar- Despite its awesome name it was a dud in the marketplace and ended up being the final nail in Atari’s coffin.
What was your favorite video game console growing up?
