Google Street View - August 2011

Believe it or not, just 5 years ago there was a thriving "video store" on Commercial Drive. Imagine that - a true dinosaur from a bye-gone era: a store that rents you physical discs or tapes to watch movies on.

We discovered this "glitch" in Google Street View. When you are viewing the most current (September 2017) image of Commercial Drive, you can click in a certain area to zoom in and it switches to the August 2011 image.

When was the last time you rented from a video store?
