Money Saving Tips Without Coupons from Virtual Vicky
I don’t know about you but I love a deal. With the bad economy it has made many watch their money more closely. Whether you need to go shopping for food or you just have to have that great pair of shoes, you’re always wanting a discount of some sort.
I’ve watched TLC’s ‘Extreme Couponing’ and I think it’s amazing how they are able to spend very little money with the use of coupons. When I finished watching an episode I was all about couponing but then realized I don’t have the time. But then, I recognized I have been shopping and saving for years. So, on that note I thought I would share some of my shopping tips regularly to help you out.

This tip is for facebook users. A lot of people have facebook to keep in touch with family and friends, I know I do. But I recently started following my favorite stores on facebook too. At first I was hesitant because I didn’t want to see all their advertisements and be influenced to spend money. Then I looked at the bright side of seeing these advertisements promoted on facebook and realized I could save money when I needed to buy something or had the urge to go on a shopping spree.
I’m a big fan of Bath & Body Works so I liked their facebook page. Now I know when my favorite holiday scents are in the stores and I’ll have a heads up on the semi-annual sale. With the holidays right around the corner you can’t pass up deals. Sometimes they even give away free things on facebook.

I have also liked Walmart on facebook and noticed that they brought back layaway for Christmas. That’s very helpful for early Christmas shoppers. They even promote their everyday products and current prices. That’s helpful to know when making your shopping list.
Liking your favorite stores facebook page can have some great perks for you. As long as you are strong and don’t buy on impulse and buy on need you should be alright.
