Wade Shows Takes Over Midway Games and Rides at New York State Fair

Expect a whole new fair experience at the Great New York State Fair in Syracuse this summer as there is a new vendor who will be managing the midway rides and games.

Wade Shows takes over midway operations from James E. Strates Shows the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, the agency that manages the fair, said in a release today.

The theme of the midway will be 'Showcase NY' and feature New York themed rides, food, and games.

Expect the midway to be bigger this summer with 63 rides, 25 food stands and 70 different games.

The 2014 Great New York State Fair runs from August 21 to September 1 at the fairgrounds in Syracuse.
