Competition among retailers is fierce, especially when it involves the holidays.  Walmart is the latest retailer to unveil Black Friday deals on Thanksgiving.  Once you're done with your Thanksgiving dinner, Walmart is hoping you'll hop in your car and head to one of their stores to get a jump on those Black Friday sales.  According to usatoday.com, Walmart will be holding special sales on Thanksgiving evening.  One at 6pm and the other at 8pm.  That's two hours earlier than Walmart's sales last Thanksgiving.

Online shoppers can expect to find good deals on Thanksgiving morning.  But for those who refuse to do any sort of shopping on Thanksgiving, Walmart promises to still have great deals on Black Friday.

Walmart isn't the only large retailer trying to get a jump on the shorter holiday shopping season this year.  Macy's, Target, Kohl's, JCPenney,Toy R Us, Sears and The Gap have all jumped on the Thanksgiving day shopping bandwagon.
