If you've ever dreamed of owning your own island, boy, do we have a deal for you. It contains a lodge that our own Naomi Lynn blogged about two years ago, when it was available only for RENT. Now, you can buy the whole thing. Its location is in Clayton, New York, straight up Route 12, about two hours from the Mohawk Valley, just past Watertown, on the St. Lawrence River.

For just $2.4 million, here's what you get: a 3.1-acre piece of land in the Thousand Islands, an eight-bedroom lodge built in 1875, a two-bedroom guest cottage, docks which can be used for boats and/or swimming, and a boathouse. Plus, there's some pretty cool historical significance.
