You've probably heard of yoga. Maybe even Vinyasa yoga or Ashtanga yoga. What about goat yoga? Yep, you read that correctly: you can now do yoga with a goat.

Full Lotus Yoga of Rome and Fort Rickey Discovery Zoo are partnering to offer Goat Yoga on August 1.

Admittedly, goats aren't the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of yoga, but what better way to de-stress and re-connect with nature than a relaxing yoga class with some adorable goats?
According to Full Lotus Yoga:

Anyone can practice (yoga)! Yoga is not exclusive to any one group of people and can offer benefits to anyone that welcomes the practice into their lives. Children start yoga as young as age 4 and many adults practice yoga into their 80's and even 90's!

That sounds like something anyone can do.

According to YogaJournal.com, yoga has so many benefits - (and these can only be enhanced by the goats, right?) - including:

  • Increases flexibility.
  • Builds muscle strength.
  • Perfects your posture.
  • Prevents cartilage and joint breakdown.

Why not give Goat Yoga a try next month? You'd better hurry up and get your tickets because there are only 20 spots available, and the last Yoga Goat class sold out.

For more information, or to purchase tickets, go to fulllotusyoga.com or check out the event on Facebook.
