When it comes to weird creatures like Bigfoot and Nessie the proof for their existence has been building slowly over the decades but, one creature that has recently grown in popularity may have just been found.

Beginning in the late 1980's and gradually rising in popularity throughout the 1990's the Chupacabra, also known as the 'Goat sucker,' was believed to just be more Latin American folklore except that mysterious cattle mutilations and the deaths of livestock were being attributed to this supposedly mythical creature.

Now, in Ratcliffe Texas  one family has claimed that they captured a Chupacabra in a live-trap and brought in the local news to film the creature. Local biologists believe the animal is some sort of canine stating:

It's never been proven to be a unique species, it was always something out there that allegedly was said to cause harm or threaten to cause harm to people or to livestock...

However, many residents believe this animal is the mythical creature that is responsible for the livestock deaths. While the animal is awaiting examination it is being held at the family's home and being fed a diet of cat-food and corn.
