One of the most terrifying stories of my childhood was when one friend threw a lit match into the gas tank of a mini-bike burning another friends face. The dangers of playing with fire near gasoline are well known to me, but not to this guy.

According to Gawker;

A Georgia man was caught on camera setting his wife on fire while he played with his lighter as the two stood near their gas tank at a service station last month.

In the video that captured the incident, you can see Austin Dawkins, 37, messing around with the lighter when it causes the fuel to catch fire. Wife Jessica, 30, tried to run away, but got caught up in the blaze and suffered second- and third-degree burns. She has since been released from the hospital.

Austin Dawkins could spend a year in the 'tank' if charges of reckless conduct stick.
