The New York theatre played an important role in the War of 1812. From Buffalo along Lake Ontario to Oswego and up the St Lawrence to Plattsburgh on Lake Champlain, the war waged across the Empire State. A new documentary from PBS affiliate WCNY-TV takes a look at preservation efforts for these historical sites across New York State.
