Western Alaska Weathers Storm As Strong As Category 3 Hurricane [VIDEO]
Western Alaskan communities like Nome are facing a winter storm that the National Weather Service warned would be as strong as a category 3 hurricane. The storm, which brewed in the Bearing Sea brought winds of nearly 90 miles per hour and flooding storm surge.
