"My dad was too drunk to drive, so I did the driving."  That's what Kevin McCafrey's son told the cops on Saturday.  The 40-year-old man and his 13-year-old son were at Burger King in the Buffalo suburb of Tonawanda when police were called.  They responded to a report that an intoxicated man at the restaurant was giving employees a hard time.

When police arrived at the Burger King, the Buffalo News reports that they found out that not only did the kid drive to the restaurant, but he had also driven his dad to a convenience store to buy gas and cigarettes.

The boy's father has been charged with child-endangerment and second-degree reckless endangerment.  The child was taken to a relative's house and Child Protective Services was notified.
