After a week's worth of zombie-style attacks and scores of articles, an arm of the U.S. Governement has made a statement about the 'Zombie Apocalypse.'

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta on Friday made a statement to the Huffington Post:

"CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead (or one that would present zombie-like symptoms)," wrote agency spokesman David Daigle in an email to The Huffington Post.

Lite 98.7's Paranormal Expert, Phil Nye, states that a zombie-like state needs not come from a reanimated corpse, but documented zombie cases have come from psychotropic drugs.

The local authorities in Miami and New Jersey earlier this week feared infection most from the cases they were dealing with earlier this week.
