Montana has been getting national attention after a state representative is trying to get yoga pants banned - wearing them could be considered "indecent exposure."

Imagine relaxing on the couch at night in yoga pants. All of a sudden you remember you forgot to pick up milk for breakfast the next morning, and you had to get up and get dressed to head out, instead of just throwing on some shoes and going.

Citizens in Montana may actually have to deal with this. Montana Representative - David Moore is proposing a bill to toughen indecent exposure laws in the state. Clothing that shows too much of a person's buttocks, genitals, or pelvic area would be included in the new law. Also, any nipple exposure - for both men and women would be outlawed.

Time reports,

Tight-fitting clothing—like yoga pants, for example—could also be considered indecent exposure under the law, the Republican lawmaker said. “Yoga pants should be illegal in public anyway,” Moore said after the hearing.

Moore wanted to strengthen the indecent exposure law after a naked bicycling event called "Bare as you Dare" rode through the area, and upset some of the residents.

I can understand getting a little upset about a bunch of naked people on bikes riding through a town, but I don't see what that has to do with yoga pants. Yoga pants are still pants and they're comfy. I'd never give mine up! Yoga Pants for Life!
