What to Do if Your Car Doesn’t Start in the Cold [Watch]

Have you seen enough of this unbelievable, brutal central New York winter? Unfortunately, this is the season when cars just don't like to start up the way they should.  If our cars could talk, they might say something like this: "Please put me back in the garage, I'm freezing! I think I will throw a temper tantrum and not start up just to prove to you that I'm really not happy about you taking me out of the nice warm garage."

Have you dared to look at your thermometer lately? I winced with pain after I read today's weather forecast:

"Temperatures....5 below to 15 below zero. Wind chills 25 below to 40 degrees below zero." (National Weather Service)

When I stepped outside and into the Arctic tundra today, the cold nearly took my breath away. My car was not in the mood to cooperate either.  It took me a few attempts before it decided to turn over.
