The weather has definitely made it feel like summer this past week in Central New York. But when do Central New Yorkers agree summer has actually started?

We're debating the start of seasons again. First we were curious when people in CNY thought spring started. Some go by the actual "official" start of the season on the calendar, some go by the changes in weather, and others start spring after Easter.

When it came to spring, most Central New Yorkers (who participated in the online poll), agreed it started once there were "buds on trees and flowers." That answer won with 36% of the votes.

Now we want to find out when you think summer starts. Do you go by the official start day? (which is a little less than a month away). Is it when the weather gets hotter and stays hotter?

We want to know what you think! Vote on our poll and let us know when summer starts for you. If you don't see an answer you agree with, you can always type in your own answer.
