Living in Central New York, we're no strangers to deer on the road. This driver had a bit of bad luck when it comes to deer on the road.

This past week, a northbound 219 driver had an encounter with a deer that totaled their car. The driver thankfully only suffer some minor lacerations to her arm and head. Her car, unfortunately, took a bigger beating.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office would like to remind drivers to reduce their speed accordingly in areas with high deer crossing activities.
