Those of us living in the Northeast are feeling the impact of winter storm Hercules which is bringing bitter cold and snow to millions of Americans.

USA Today reports that at least 100 million Americans today are under either a winter storm warning, watch or advisory.

Most of New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, eastern Pennsylvania and Connecticut are under winter storm warnings.

Here in Central New York, we have a winter storm watch in effect until 10 tomorrow morning.  Snow advisories are also in effect.  7pm for the village of Frankfort, 10pm for the city of Utica and 11pm for Herkimer and Mohawk.

A travel advisory has been issued until further notice for Madison County.

Bad news for those flying the friendly skies as flights continue to be delayed or cancelled.

Even after the snow slows down, the Northeast will experience bitterly cold temperatures on Friday.  Don't be surprised to see record lows set, thanks to winter storm Hercules.

Winter just got here less than two weeks ago and I'm already wishing for spring.
