Significant amounts of snow are still expected and a Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for all of Central New York.

The Winter Storm Warning includes the cities of Rome, Utica, Syracuse, Hamilton, Oneida, Cortland, Norwich, Boonville, Seneca Falls, Auburn and Oneonta. Many Central New York schools have already issued delays, with more anticipated as the morning progresses. Use extra caution on your morning drive into work or elsewhere, as roads may be slick and sloppy.

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4
inches. Storm total snow accumulations of 8 to 12 inches.

* WHERE...Northern Oneida, Otsego, Chenango, Cortland, Onondaga,
Madison, Southern Oneida, Seneca and Southern Cayuga Counties.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions will impact the morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
