Winter Weather Advisory for Central New York Wednesday Night into Thursday Morning
Our next round of winter weather is set to hit Central New York tonight and the National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Winter Weather Advisory.
The advisory is in effect from Wednesday night at 8 and lasts through Thursday morning at 11. The weather advisory includes the counties of Oneida, Madison, Chenago, Herkimer, Lewis and all counties to the east. The storm is forecast to bring
SNOW, SLEET, AND A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN EARLY THURSDAY.
* ACCUMULATIONS...MOST AREAS WILL RECEIVE 1 TO 2 INCHES OF SNOW
AND SLEET, WITH HIGH ELEVATIONS IN THE CATSKILLS REGION
RECEIVING 2 TO 4 INCHES OF SNOW. THE SNOW WILL MELT QUICKLY WHEN
RAIN ARRIVES LATE MORNING.
