Are you ready to feel like a slacker? A 61-year-old named Diana Nyad has been training to swim from Cuba to Florida. Now I complain about walking from one side of the building to the next, but this 61 year old is swimming!

Florida to Cuba is 103 miles of shark-infested water. It wasn’t the sharks that stopped her, sadly the stormy seas stopped her.

"It's hard because I felt like I had it in me," she said after returning to dry land.

She swam for 30 hours, battling crazy winds that blew her 15 miles off course. The entire swim was expected to take her 60 hours. The same swim was actually completed successfully in May 1997 by Australian Susan Maroney, who was 22 at the time. But Maroney used a shark cage.
