Come on, even U.S. Presidents have driven with their dogs on their laps. Well, in some parts of our country, that's a no no. An Oregon woman said she plans to contest a $160 ticket she was issued for driving with her 9-pound dog on her lap. Diane Martin said she was driving with her husband and had their silky terrier, Barney, on her lap, when she was pulled over.

Apparently in Beaverton, that's distracted driving. The officer told her it was unsafe to have the dog on her lap while behind the wheel. Martin was issued a $160 for operating a vehicle that is loaded or equipped to obstruct the driver. Find out more here from King5.com;
