Woman Who Fell Into Mall Fountain Isn’t Laughing, She’s Suing
It was funny while it lasted. I got a kick out of it.
Remember the video of the lady who’s so busy trying to walk and text at the same time that she falls right into a mall fountain? The hilarious video went viral, and its pitiable star remained anonymous — until now.
Turns out she’s an employee at the mall and says she’ll sue. “My issue is I don’t think security was professional because they didn’t send anyone to check on me until 20 minutes later and I had already left,” she told local reporters.
She was on ABC America This Morning to tell her side of the story:
If I was a mall cop, I would of issued her a disorderely conduct ticket for endangering fellow shoppers. But I wonder, should the mall security employees (and “mall officials”) be punished for posting the video to YouTube? Is it unfair for her to be the subject of so much negative attention? Let us know what you think in the comments. In the meantime, let’s review that tape one more time…
