A zoo is more than a place to see animals and their habitat, just look at all the events and activities the Utica Zoo always has going on. With all those activities it's obvious why the zoo could use a few extra hardworking, motivated adults.

The Utica Zoo is looking for interns that can help them in a variety of areas. As of now (posted on their website), the zoo is looking for four different types of interns.

They're searching for a Business Administration Intern. This person would work on general office projects for the zoo, help write grants for fundraising, and other projects that would help out the regular operations of the Administrative Department.

The zoo is also looking for a Human Resources Intern. This intern would help with an assortment of jobs including reporting and posting jobs, creating and going over employee satisfaction surveys, and other jobs in the Human Resources Department.

A Communications Intern is also being searched for. Someone who would be able to take care of information on the Utica Zoo's social media pages and their website. This intern would also assist with graphic design, writing press releases, and taking (or collecting) photos for zoo events and such.

The last intern the Utica Zoo is looking for is a Special Events Intern. This person would help with the activities and events the zoo puts on, everything from helping collect donations, to working with the food and drink vendors, to sending out thank you cards and letters after the event is over.
