Would You Move If You Could? — Survey of the Day

Home sweet home isn’t looking so sweet for the majority of Americans.
In fact, according to a new poll from the YMCA of 1,000 adults, 60 percent would move from their community right now if they could.
However, at this point, financial and other economic consideration seem to be preventing this mass migration.
The poll also uncovered some of the reasons Americans are so dissatisfied with their local communities. Seventy-five percent of respondents said that they are worried about crime in their neighborhood, and 94 percent reported that budget cuts to local government and social services has had a negative effect on them.
