Your Office Spouse

I first heard of this idea on an episode of King Of Queens. Carrey had a work husband, and I laughed at the idea. But many people in today’s workforce claim to have a “work wife” or “work husband.” This is a relationship defined as a “close co-worker of the opposite sex who shares confidences, loyalties and experiences.”
According to Yahoo Shine, Experts say this can actually be a really great relationship and can help take the stress off your ACTUAL spouse in a really healthy way. But to do this, they suggest you obey the following rules:
- Introduce your real spouse to your office spouse and encourage their interaction.
- Keep your office relationship out in the open to avoid rumors.
- Don’t keep secrets about the work spouse from your actual spouse.
- Don’t cheat on your real spouse with an office spouse
