Alicia Keys Denies Being A Homewrecker

Until now, Alicia Keys hasn't spoken much about the alleged love triangle between her husband Swizz Beatz, herself and his ex-wife Mashonda.  Beatz and Mashonda divorced last May and Mashonda publicly blamed Alicia for the break up of her marriage.  Alicia says she isn't a homewrecker and didn't break up their marriage. 

In the June issue of "Essence Magazine

, " Alicia reveals she and Beatz didn't start dating until he and Mashonda were completely seperated.  She  tells the magazine she was hurt by all the false things being said about her.  Alicia, who started dating Beatz in 2008, hated being labeled a homewrecker but had a reason for not defending herself publicly.  She says, "I was sure that if I engaged in it would become back-and-forth like some sick entertainment, which goes against everything I believe and would have made things worse."  Fast forward to now and things are good between all of them and it's just Alicia saying that.  Mashonda does too.  Alicia and Beatz got married last July and have a seven month old son named Egypt.
