Beyonce to Perform First Post-Baby Concert on Memorial Day Weekend
Beyonce is back! After a couple of months of motherhood, the R&B diva is ready to rock the stage again. The ‘Love on Top’ songbird announced that she will be performing a special residency concert at the grand opening of the new Revel casino resort in Atlantic City, N.J.
This would mark Beyonce’s first live performance since given birth to Blue Ivy in January. The R&B mom will perform three shows, which will take place on May 25, 26 and 27. Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 6 at 10AM ET at all Ticketmaster outlets.
This is exciting news for Beyonce fans who have been wondering when she will return to the stage. Actually, it’s kind of surprising that she would be back so soon — we figured she would be on an extended maternity leave for the next several months. Nevertheless, this is going to be a special concert. Maybe we’ll see a guest appearance from Bey’s husband Jay-Z?
As for the venue, Revel is Atlantic City’s first smoke-free casino resort. The hotel will opens its doors on April 2 with an eight-week preview culminating to its grand opening on May 25. The Revel also includes several nightclubs, a spa, a dozen restaurants and more.
