18-year-old Daneil M. Miner of Sherbourne is in critical condition after a car accident on Friday. A Facebook page titled "DaniStrong" has been started to help raise funds for her medical expenses. According to Syracuse.com,

Miner was driving north on state Route 12 near Willey Road around 1:35 p.m., when her 2003 Hyundai Sonata slid counterclockwise on the snow-covered road and was struck by an oncoming pickup truck, state police said in a news release. The driver of the truck, Charlie A. Anderson, also of Sherburne, was not injured, but Miner had to be extricated from the car and taken to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica for head and internal injuries, police said.

This young lady was simply on her way to work and the winter weather led her to a hospital bed. She needs your help and I know this community can come together to help support her and her family. You can donate on the GoFundMe page http://www.gofundme.com/ or by using #DaniStrong on Facebook or Twitter. Be sure to keep Dani in your thoughts and prayers and we wish her a speedy recovery!
