Darren Criss and Matt Bomer perform an intense version of Gotye’s ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ on next week’s ‘Big Brother’ episode of ‘Glee.’

Bomer plays Cooper, the older brother of Criss’ character Blaine Anderson, which makes his full name Cooper Anderson. Clever! The two clearly have strong feelings about what happened in the past, and they dish out plenty of dirty looks and angry stares as they take turns singing the Gotye track.

When Blaine sings, “Now and then I think of all the times you screwed me over,” there’s a short flashback to a scene of the boys as kids, fighting over toys. Though the song was written about a failed relationship between lovers, it works fine for siblings as well.

In a preview of the episode, Bomer said of the Gotye tune, “I love everything about it, so to even get the chance to record it was so special and fun.” ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’ currently occupies the No. 4 position on the singles chart, and if history is any indication, it may get a nice sales bump after ‘Big brother’ airs on FOX next Tuesday, April 10.
