Guys, you've probably lost a hoodie or two to a girl that was cold and not nice enough to return it. Well a new hashtag aims to reverse that trend.

#TakeHerHoodie was started by a Twitter user who was tried of losing expensive sweatshirts, so he began the hashtag and it instantly took off:

BuzzFeed reports the initial tweet was shared over 17,000 times.

Twitter users instantly took to the challenge, posting pictures of themselves in hoodies that belong to their girlfriends, moms and sisters just to get into the spirit.

I got in on the fun too as you can see in the pics, but the first hoodie I tried to take from my girlfriend was a little too tight!
