You might want to sit down for this: Kim Kardashian actually wants to learn about something. And she isn't getting paid for it or anything.

Earlier this week, in reference to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict which she knows nothing about but wanted to share the headlines with anyway, the buxom reality star drew the internet's ire when she tweeted, “Praying for everyone in Israel.”

After being lambasted for her one-sidedness, she later added, “Praying for everyone in Palestine and across the world!”

She eventually deleted both tweets and apologized for offending everyone. An apology that was a long time coming, even if you take her asinine tweets out of the equation.

In an effort to fix this fax-paux, Kim has announced that while she's in Kuwait and Bahrain making appearances at some Millions of Milkshakes openings (oh, there's the "getting paid" part), she'll use the opportunity to learn a little more about the Middle East.

Because nothing says "Middle East" like a double chocolate shake with sprinkles.

"Kim wants to be as informed as possible,” says a source, "so she can use her celebrity to help those in need and raise awareness about important issues in the area."

Also so she doesn't look like an idiot the next time she tweets about geopolitical issues. Which she should never do, ever.

Meetings have reportedly been set up with world leaders in both countries. Why they'd bother talking to her is unclear, but how we wish we could peek at those PowerPoint presentations.
