Any golfer's dream is to one day get a hole-in-one. For many it takes several years, and for others that dream never comes true. For recent New Hartford High School graduate Ryan Faro it only took 18 years. Ryan also spent some time here at Big Frog 104 as an intern.

He will be attending SUNY Cortland in the fall to study Communications. He hopes to one day be a sports broadcaster. He will also be playing for the school's club baseball team, and hopes to be an RA. A hole-in-one is a great addition to any sports related resume, and it couldn't have happened to a greater kid.

Faro shot the hole-in-one at the popular Par-3 course, Sandstone Hollow, at Turning Stone Resort Casino. As he was about to tee off on the 8th hole of the course, he says he decided to not use a tee, he hit it, and it took one hop and fell in. He also said, "I've never been more excited in my life, as a baseball player who normally doesn't play golf that often it was a great achievement." We couldn't agree more. Congratulations Ryan, and good luck with your freshman year of college.
