Fall desserts don't have to be only pumpkin flavored. Doesn't peach blackberry cobbler sound yummy? Delilah has the recipe for you.
Peach-Blackberry Cobbler
The blackberry bushes grow like weeds around my farm! I end up preserving a lot of them, or making pie, or, since my friend Dee Dee sent me this delectable recipe, I can see I’ll be making cobbler very soon…
Fruit mixture: 3 large ripe peaches, peeled and thinly sliced (or 3-4 cups frozen fruit, thawed) 2 cups blackberries (thawed if using frozen) 3 tablespoons flour (or more if fruit is exceptionally juicy) 3/4 - 1 cup white sugar (depending on tartness of fruit) 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
Crumble topping: 1 stick (1/2 cup) cold butter, cubed 1 cup light brown sugar 1 cup flour 1 cup uncooked oatmeal 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt
