Rainbow Brite – Nostalgia Cartoon

Running for just 3 years in the mid 1980s, Rainbow Brite made a huge impression on girls of the 80s as a little orphan girl named Wisp began her quest to add a vibrancy of colors to Colorless World.

Wisp's main adversary was the King of Shadows.  Her journey involved finding the Color Belt which would restore a rainbow of colors to Colorless World and she was assisted by her rainbow-maned horse Starlite and the Color Kids.  After the series wrapped up in 1986, the series and characters where just in our memories until 2010 when a new line of Rainbow Brite toys was released.
