Friends of the Tompkins County Public County Library – 2013 Spring Book Sale in Ithaca

Upstate New York's largest book sale will be held in Ithaca over the next three weekends.

I can't prove that the Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library's book sale is truly the largest charity book sale event around, but where else can you find more than 250 thousand books and other items for sale in one place?

The book sale is held each spring and fall and is stocked each time fresh with community donations.

That means I make the trip to Ithaca four times each year - donate twice and purchase twice.

The sale is held over three weekends beginning Saturday May 4.  The cost of the books decreases each day of the sale.

The book sale is held in the Friends of the Tompkins County Public Library building at 509 Esty Street in Ithaca.
