Chili-Palooza comes to the Herkimer County fairgrounds tomorrow from 10AM-10PM.  The highlight of the event will be music on two stages plus a chili cook-off featuring area fire departments. For the kids, an amusement area has been set up featuring Hawkins Amusements and Lloyd's Concessions.  The amusement area has all the fun rides you'd find at the fair or your local field days during the summer

Chili-Palooza is coming to the Herkimer County Fairgrounds in Frankfort, October 15th. This is a daylong concert event with family fun and continuous live music on 2 stages! There will be 8 bands performing country, blues, or classic rock on the Local Upstate Chrysler Jeep Main Stage. Sample chili and choose your favorite in the Best Chili Contest.

Local Fire Departments to Participate in Chili Contest at Chili-Palooza

Chili-Palooza is not only about Chili and Music, it’s also about supporting our local fire departments. The Best Chili Contest was created for the local fire departments to compete against each other and raise money for each department. Each sample of chili will cost $1. The fire departments will keep all the proceeds from the Best Chili Contest. The first place team will win $750 and the second place team will receive $250. Below is a list of the local participating fire departments participating at Chili-Palooza!

CCR Tribute Band Bayou Boys to Head Chili-Palooza
Canada's Bayou Boys, a CCR tribute band, will make their Central New York debut at Chili-Palooza, Saturday, October 15th at Herkimer County Fairgrounds. The Bayou Boys hit the road in 1989 and have toured all over Canada, the U.S, and Finland. (Yes, Finland!)
