Shoppers who frequent the Utica, New Hartford, Oneida, Rome and other Walmarts in CNY should know the chain has shifted gears on its stance on coupons.
National Coupon month is underway and I found a recent survey from Coupon.Cabin.com interesting and frankly a little unbelievable. They asked people a hypothetical question about winning the lottery and using coupons.
Coupons are making a comeback, thanks to Americans trying to find ways to deal with the economic downturn. According to NCH Marketing Services’ 2012 coupon facts survey, we redeemed $4.6 billion worth last year, a 59 percent increase from five years ago.
But what do we use them for most?
