A minor earthquake shook the residents of Los Angeles away around 3:30 this morning.  While it was termed by a police dispatcher as 'not much of a quake,' the epicenter was right in the heart of metropolitan LA, centered just south of Marina Del Ray near Culver City.

Marina del Ray, CA (WIBX) – The United States Geological Survey is confirming that a 3.8 magnitude earthquake shook the Los Angeles area at 3:18am.  The earthquake followed a quake in Indonesia shortly after midnight that measured 6.4 on the Richter scale.
