A 20-year-old woman from Broome County has died after her motorcycle collided with a car.

State Police in East Herkimer have identified the woman who died in a crash on Route 5-S in German Flats on Tuesday.

A sad update to a story we brought you earlier this week. Rome CSD officials confirm the student injured in this incident has now died.

A 22-year-old woman from Rome has been identified as the victim in a fatal crash involving a tractor trailer that occurred on State Route 8 in Chenango County.

Authorities are still investigating a weekend crash that left one Central New York person dead and several others hospitalized.

Police say the driver in the fatal crash showed no signs of impairment, but is unlicensed.

The accident is currently being investigated by the Criminal Investigations Unit, the Forensic ID Unit and road patrol deputies, officials said.

Police said speed and alcohol were not factors in the accident.

Police are still seeking information in the ongoing investigation, asking anyone with information on the 'events that led up to the crash' .
