A reminder to all who may be traveling through downtown Utica this Sunday morning, several streets and highways will be closed while the demolition of the Fay Street Warehouse is taking place.

The Fay Street Warehouse implosion is set for Sunday March 2, 2014. That will be big news here in Central New York, but will likely not get the national exposure the implosion of the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome received when it imploded last weekend in Minnesota.
