Central New York can expect hazardous driving conditions as a winter storm dumps anywhere from 8" - 14" of snow and freezing rain on the area.

A winter storm is projected to bring significant amounts of snow and ice to Central New York this week.

Central New York's brief reprieve from winter weather is over. Freezing rain and sleet will make roads icy and driving dangerous.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of Central New York, including the cities of Utica and Rome.
