A cold front will cross Utica and Rome this afternoon and evening, sparking dangerous storm activity with damaging winds and large hail.

The National Weather Service (NWS) out of Binghamton is warning of strong to severe thunderstorms with possible prolonged downpours. Are we in for more flooding?

We didn't all get to see the hail storm that hit the Utica yesterday, but for those who did, it looked kinda crazy to say the least.

Ever been caught outside in a hailstorm? I have and it's amazing how hard that hail comes pelting down.  Extreme weather in Siberia had people on this beach seeking any type of shelter from the hail hitting the beach. Those beach umbrellas look kind of flimsy to me.

A spring storm brought hail the size of large peas to Utica and portions of Central New York on Saturday afternoon of the Memorial Day holiday weekend.

The past two days have seen unseasonably warm weather with high temperatures into the mid 90s with high humidity. Wednesday afternoon brought severe weather to many parts of Upstate New York and Northern Pennsylvania. We've collected some images from hail and the effects of the storms.
