A New York Assemblywoman is proposing legislation that would ban archery, shooting, and marksmanship from public schools.

The Tarrant County medical examiner says 42-year-old Kirk Franklin of nearby Saginaw Texas died in the infield during a NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway after he shot himself in the head. The death on Saturday April 13th is apparently a suicide.

"The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun." This is the simple but loaded comment by the main man over at the NRA that has put himself and his company under some serious criticism lately.
