President Barack Obama visited Henninger High School last night on his bus trip through New York State.

A high school friend of President Barack Obama has released pictures of a then 17-year-old on his way to the prom in Hawaii. Kelli Allman, who went to the prom with Obama’s friend Greg Orme, released pictures of Obama and his date, Megan Hughes. You'll see him posing with Allman and Orme before going to the Punahou School’s prom.

It's being reported by CNN that President Barack Obama will announce this in tonight's State of the Union address. By this time next year, 34,000 U.S. troops, currently serving our country in Afghanistan will have returned home.

This is one of America's favorite times of the year. Seeing the President and the first family light up the tree. President Obama and his family flipped the switch on the National Christmas Tree Thursday night. President Obama said that he hopes that the new tree lasts longer than the last one, which died after just a year.

As we count down to 2013 I thought I'd check back and see how I did. Let's review.

There is no doubt when the President of the United States travels, he does so in style.  I had the opportunity to see President Bush land on Air Force One in South Bend, Indiana.  Even from afar it's quite an awe inspiring event.  Once the President has landed, he's whisked around town in a specially designed limousine.

For the fourth year in a row, President Obama comes in first as the man Americans admire the most, according to a recent USA Today-Gallup Poll.   Hillary Clinton is no stranger to the top of the most admired woman list.  This is her  tenth year in a row as the most admired woman and also a record sixteenth overall.
