severe weather outbreak

Last night's storms brought heavy rains that flooded basements, backyard, roadways and caused the Mohawk overflow its banks.  We captured some images of the flooding.  There was also damage from a suspected tornado in Frankfort.

It's been a week of wild weather all across the United States and Central New York was not spared from the wrath of spring storms.  Another band of strong storm came though last night and this morning.  The overnight storms brought flooding while this morning's storm spawned a possible tornado in the town of Frankfort...

Syracuse is on alert for the second time this afternoon.  The National Weather Service has issued another Severe Thunderstorm Warning.  If the storms make their way towards the Mohawk Valley, we'll continue to track them for you.

The tornado that touched down earlier this afternoon is now threatening central Herkimer County.
