Parents and Guardians can only do so much when it comes to preventing their teens from texting and driving. You can say "Don't text and drive" until you're blue in the face, but if you're not in the vehicle with them you really can't do anything to stop them. That is until now!
It was a regular night at the movie theaters, except for one thing. A video that played during the previews left the audience shocked, speechless, and could have possibly saved their lives.
With text messaging, Snapchat, Facebook messenger... we hardly ever use our phones to make phone calls anymore. It's becoming a dying act. Think about it... When was the last time you actually called someone?
A completely normal text like 'What are you doing right now?' can have a completely different meaning if you add in an unnecessary winky-face. Seriously, you can start looking like a creeper! These are some texts that probably shouldn't have gone all semicolon/end parentheses.
It doesn't matter which way we spin it; breaking up stinks. (Unless, of course, you're the breaker-upper, in which case it's like a cause for celebration.) Either way, cutting the relationship cord has gotten a bit easier ever since text messaging hit the scene. As it turns out, break up texts can be hilarious.
Being a teenager is a perilous time in one's life as a not-quite fully developed brain will cause the teen to make all kinds of questionable decisions.
Now thanks to a new phenomenon called sleep-texting, the teenager can even make these bad decisions while they are catching z's.
