vandalism in utica

Less than a week after vandals tagged a mural on Genesee Street with graffiti, another public mural has been defaced at Handshake.City in Utica - and it looks like the two incidents are related.

Did you witness this? That's the sign I read everyday on my way to and from work. I'm no Sherlock Holmes, but I'll guess someone attending an event at Utica VFW 229 on Herkimer Road was going too fast when turning into the driveway and caused this damage. That's where I'd start the investigation. (suddenly the theme to the TV show Dragnet plays in my head).
