Syracuse native Delvon Worthy has been a longtime fan of the game show and his father, Rev. William Howard Worthy, Jr., watched “Wheel of Fortune” every night until he passed away.
Wheel of Fortune has been on the air since 1983 and Pat Sajak has been the host of every single episode. Just when you think he's probably seen and heard it all, someone comes along and amazes the legendary game show host.
If I were to try my luck on this game show I'd probably be spinning the wheel of misfortune. This guy on the other hand set a game show record by solving the puzzle with just ONE letter!
You can't help but feel bad for Julian, a recent contestant on “Wheel of Fortune.” He's from from Indiana University, and he did not do the college proud. Julian had a shot at a million bucks and a car recently but he bungled big time on the game show and, in a most embarrassing way.
Pat Sajack has been hosting "Wheel of Fortune" for over thirty years, so you'd assume nothing would shock him on the show anymore. However, last night's episode (March19th) stunned Sajack when the contestant solved the "tough" bonus puzzle very quickly for $45,000.
To be fair, I've never had the pressure of being on the spot on a game show, but it seems everyone in the audience knew the answer to this puzzle except poor Zach.
